About Me

My name is Christopher J Pishaki, and I am a software engineer building scalable, production-grade software — professionally since 2021, and across an active portfolio of open-source projects spanning developer tools, native macOS utilities, games, and healthcare research.

Tackling unique and novel problems with eagerness and positivity is my modus operandi. I thrive in environments where curiosity is encouraged and innovative thinking is the norm. From implementing comprehensive CI/CD pipelines to building cross-platform mobile applications, I approach each challenge with enthusiasm and technical precision.

As a person, I enjoy connecting with others and learning about their experiences and perspectives. This curiosity has helped me develop a broad worldview and an empathetic approach to problem-solving—qualities that translate directly into better software design and team collaboration.

A formative milestone was building the Integrated Report Processor at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory for Europa Clipper testbed engineers. These days my energy goes into shipping and maintaining seven flagship open-source projects — from a notarized macOS utility to a clinical-safety research platform — alongside professional backend and mobile work.

I am excited to keep building in the open — developer tooling, native macOS apps, and software that takes safety seriously.

"And so I found myself embarrassed with so many doubts and errors that it seemed to me that the effort to instruct myself, had no effect other than the increasing discovery of my ignorance."
— René Descartes
